We have gone three times to have happy hour and/or dinner, and have given up. Will not set foot in the place again. "You should be privileged to be our customers" is the attitude radiated by the staff, if they choose to notice you at all. Expensive drinks, short pours, limited top shelf liquor, bartenders who had to be instructed how to make even some common cocktails. At dinner table multiple waiters walking past, after 25 min. one says "you want something?" and throws two menus at us. Hotplate mediocre food.

The Manor has to be the nicest Gay bar in Wilton Manors!I am new to Ft. Lauderdale but have to say that The Manor reminds me of Sidetracks in Chicago, Illinois. I love this nightclub's atmosphere! The door staff was welcoming. The valet service is prompt and courteous. Great design and upscale environment in the front portion of the bar. The nightclub in the back was amazing! Great DJs spinning and great dancing. Met a lot of awesome people which is nice being new to the city. Hope to return and try some of the yummy food I saw diners enjoying in the restaurant. This complex of a venue also offers a java shop and bakery!

Theres nothing not to love about The Manor, except maybe the crowd on certain nights. I used to come to Wilton Drive all the time, but I'm not exactly sure what this spot was before and honestly, I don't care because The Manor is the hottest spot and only true nightclub on this long stretch of road. You can always find a cool spot to chill at here, and usually I prefer the upstairs balcony because I usually need fresh air and a cigarette. However, there are so many rooms and places here it is incredible. Also, the only place you can walk into two different rooms and hear completely different music. There is a main house room, latin room, hip hop room, and plenty of in-betweens. Theres a big dance floor with a tall ceiling and second floor, theres a bar area with low ceilings, a room that looks warehouse-y in the back, and plenty of outside areas. There is something for everyone! The entertainment here is amazing! They usually book an event every week and I have personally met some very famous drag queens, from circuits as well as several Rupauls Drag Race queens. My favorite event is their annual Pillage & Plunder event where they try to book as many Rupauls Drag Race queens from any and all seasons the night before they depart to their Drag Race Cruise in Ft Lauderdale.

Over all, awesome experience! If you're 18-20 yearsold , you pay $12 to get in... They have 3 sections, the hip hop section, the outdoor section and the rave section (which was my fave) there's dancers in cool costumes and this beautiful drag queen! This dance club welcomes and is for everybody! I am straight and had girls night there with friends, and had an awesome time! I will say.... At some point throughout the night... it did get a pretty ratchet.... Mostly guys dry pumping each other and taking off their shirts... But other than that, pretty good night! It does get liiivvveeee!!!!!

My friend and I had so much fun at this place! We found it by mistake and ended up dancing the night away. The drinks were a little expensive considering the amount they give you, but the bartender had a heavy pour so it might have worked out in the end.

I guess The Manor was supposed to be a central gay jewel of a place with something for everyone; kind of a one size fits all gay people type of place. It's huge, has an enormous and beautiful dance floor, a restaurant with rather good service though somewhat "iffy" food, several bars and all kinds of entertainment. Sometimes when there is decent entertainment going, it attracts a crowd but on off week nights it's deader than the local mausoleum. It's difficult to figure The Manor. Someone sure spent a lot of money on it, buying out the old Flower's Restaurant (which was good riddance), then completely rebuilding and expanding into what it is today. I as there for opening night, the traditional glass of free champagne and what was to be part of a Cirque show. That, however, never happened until 11:00 pm and then turned out to be anything but a Cirque show. That is unless you think some dizzy broad going up and down; turning summersaults on some draperies suspended from the ceiling makes a Cirque show. They also gather email addresses from the patrons in order to notify them of special events, but wouldn't you know they put their addresses on some sort of mass mailer so that they all ended up in the unwanted spam bin of the intended addressees. Basically I find The Manor to be a nice place, but they really can't seem to get their act together or do anything right. For example, in the back bar lounge they had a comedy act. The place was packed and though it has a bar, there was no bartender to be found. To have a drink you had to walk to the main bar, and then try to get back into the lounge area. Ugh! With the "iffy" food at high prices, the general bungling of the employees not knowing what they are really suppose to be doing and no one seeming to know exactly what is happening, I can't say much for it. Particularly since other places seem to be a lot more fun, leaving The Manor as being rather dullsville.

One of the bartenders suggested I go to another bar because I couldn't make up my mind. It was blatantly racist. He had ben giving me and other black patrons dirty looks all night. I just wish I could go to a bar and not be treated like a second class citizen.

The only thing I can say negative about this place and the reason I am not giving them five stars is because the cover charge was $25 a person which coming from DC and the covers never being that much when there are some high brow clubs it surprised me. Besides that, compared to all the other clubs this was the best and it had a really great ambience and dance atmosphere. The drinks were a little on the pricy side but you would expect that with the cost of their cover. I did have a very good time there and would definitely go back.

Love love love love coming here! Love all the people here! I come with my friends all the time as they always invite and we all have a great time. The crowd is very friendly and very welcoming. We never pay a cover charge so I'm not sure why people in the comments are saying they do. Their drinks are alllllllright but hey! It's a club! They're overpriced and drowned in club soda everywhere else! Love seeing Serena ChaCha perform here as the other drag queen performances! They're all very friendly and enjoy taking the time to take pictures with all their fans. They always have great house music.

Favorite club of all time! Mostly because me and all my friends can get in. (Unfortunately we are all 20, so close!) it's super easy to find, parking is between $5-10 depends where you park. If you get there early you can always park in the plaza in front of it! For us it's $14 to get in which isn't too bad? The club is really nice so I think it's worth it. It's so much fun and they have like 4 rooms. The bar, the outside area, the more urban type of music room and then the big techno all night room basically. I love that they have a drag queen show every Friday and she always does so amazing! The vibe is awesome and I've never had a problem here. Everyone is super cool and I always have a good time.

This place is a large nightclub. Open very late. Went there one night and they over served me. I was a lil tipsy. When I asked for a water they told me the inky water available was bottle water that I would have to purchase. The cost was if course what I could buy a whole case for in the store. When I told them I did not want a bottle water they said that was all they had. Would not serve me water from the tap! I believe if you are an establishment serving alcoholic beverages you have to make drinking water available at no cost. Staff was rude in top of it. Will never go back.

Did not eat here. Went on Saturday night. Good crowd until we left at about 3am. Roudy before 2am. There was a club side and salsa side. Both were great music and enjoyable. My main problem with this place is that we had a tab with the same bartender for the whole night, bought top-shelf, and didn't get any free drinks on a very large tab. I am not accustomed to this. It was on the pricy side considering their drinks are served in little plastic cups and not very strong. Overall a good experience tho, just drink before you go.

pretty awesome venue. I was here on a Saturday night and the crowd was a little of everything, but mostly all gay and gay-friendly. Daddy's, hags, twinks, girls, generics, surfers etc etc. This place is a safe bet if you have a group of friends that want to go party. The back room had Latin music going, while the main dance floor was predominantly electronic dance music (house mostly).

Wow, it's been more than 4 1/2 years since I first reviewed The Manor, and more than 3 since I wrote my last update, though I've returned here at least a dozen times. Time does fly! Simply put, you won't find a classier place on Wilton Drive that features a little something to suit nearly everyone's tastes in both entertainment options as well as eye candy as you'll find at The Manor. It's got a modern looking, well-stocked bar when you first enter, a smaller bar to the left with a few dozen craft beers and microbrews on tap and in bottles, there's a Latin club at the back, and to the side of the main bar is the entrance to the 2 storey dance club, which also has a stage and is used for some special events, celebrity DJs and small concerts. I find that The Manor tends to evolve fairly often. As I mentioned in my last review, there had been some changes over the first year that this place was in operation, some rooms and spaces were re-themed vs. their original intent, etc. That has continued. What was once a café and pastry/dessert counter to the left when you first enter is now a bar where they have a few dozen taps and sell several craft beers / microwbrews. What was once the outdoor bar on the patio in front and billed as a "sports bar" is now gone, as they moved that wall out so they could move the bar for the 2 storey dance club back several feet to make room for more patrons in there. In my last review I also mentioned that they had a stage and a live band that played in the main bar area on weekend evenings. While I enjoyed their music and they were talented, they were really too loud for that small of a space, and it was annoying to have to yell at the person next to you at the bar when trying to carry on a conversation, or scream your order to the bartender. For better or worse, the stage and that band have been gone for quite some time. I've been here for a number of special events and even a "concert" where Deborah Cox performed about 4 numbers. The Manor is always well staffed, organized, I've never experienced rude treatment by any of the employees, and the patrons also seem to be younger than many of the other bars in this area and are out to have a fun time. Do note that this bar/club is one of the later ones to come alive on weekend evenings. If you stop by on an off night or before things really get busy, this place can be VERY dead and seem like a ghost town, if for no other reason than just the sheer size of the place. The disco lighting in the club portion of The Manor is much improved since I wrote my last review, and they hired a proper lighting programmer to operate it. So instead of a dark disco with the same lighting design running all night, it's now a lot more lively and the lighting design actually changes with the beat of the music and tempo of the songs that are played. So how could they improve the place moving forward? 2 things: 1)Better A/C in the dance club. The last few times I've been here, we left simply because we were getting "swamp ass" from sweating and gyrating on the dance floor. They do have the 2 large CO2 jets that I mentioned in my last review. Those do help cool the place a bit, but not nearly enough. On the night Deborah Cox performed, I was just standing up in one of the loft areas enjoying a drink and watching the show, wasn't dancing or moving around and I was literally dripping sweat. 2) More restrooms. I noticed that they removed one toilet from at least one of their restrooms so they could install more urinals, but when they pack this place on Friday and Saturday nights, the lines for the restrooms can be several people deep and a long wait.

If you have a pulse in Fort Lauderdale, are gay, under 75 and not at Manor, you're wasting a great Friday out. I love everything about this club. Owned by the same people who operated Coliseum, which set my bar for every club, this complex does not fail to offer amazing music, hot bodies and great drinks every time. You have to be careful though, they will have early drink specials which are amazing, and then they take a healthy jump, so know your timing and watch your tab. The place welcomes a very healthy mix of everyone, but does sku more tward the twink/young pro crowd. If you're looking for a hardcore fetish type experience this may not be for you. Its certainly not if you just want to have a beer and sit a the bar. This is a high energy space.

I've heard that the Drag shows always start too late..but that was a few years ago, and figured if it was true maybe the Manor smoothed out the kinks.. NOT. For instance we went to see Bianca DelRio (winner of Rupaul's Drag Race) May 24th , the ad says starts at 10, so we thought ok we would get there at 10:30 (drag time)., we and lots of others were let into the main stage area at 10:30, my friends and I stood(danced a little just to get the tension of waiting) until it was now 12:40am and still no Bianca DelRio.....although the place is huge, it needs a lesson in NOT promoting false advertisement !!

Literally my favorite club to go to! It's so much fun, the music is awesome they have different dance rooms and the people are awesome. I love how every Friday night, or at least the Fridays I always go they have live shows! Live drag dancers and singers. It's so awesome! They keep it so much fun and my friends and I always go here! No discrimination, everyone, gay or not is welcomed! I love it! :)

The Manor is the real life version of Babylon from Queer as Folk. It is the type of place where gays and lesbians of different sizes and races can come together for a fun night of dancing, drinking, and merriment. I came here last Saturday and was amazed at the architecture and sense of fun here. It was definitely a huge sign of relief knowing that I found a place to go dancing and meet new people without the pretentiousness of South Beach. Also, unlike other clubs in Miami, I found a good share of "gaysians" here. I am an introvert so hopefully next time I come here I will not be too nervous to strike a conversation with a guy. The crowd here is diverse. Also, a word of advice to The Manor... Please turn up the air conditioning! I came here the night Deborah Cox was performing, and I think I almost passed out due to the humidity. There was definitely a lot of people here because the Manor is known as the go-to place for having a good time, and there is always no cover, so the venue was very packed. However, with those many people in the room, the place can get humid, and I honestly found it to be unbearable, so please turn up the air conditioning the next time you have a live music event. Also, please make sure that you conduct a sound check. I couldn't figure out a word that Miss Cox was performing because there was too much bass. Having to wait over 2 hours also ruins the mood. Overall, I will come again to the Manor because it is a good place to meet people (or so I have heard), but like all other places, there are definitely a few things that need to be fixed. Good crowd. Fun times. A must go to place the next time I am in Wilton Manors.

Music selection could have been better, $7 cover charge, over priced drinks, and 18+ brought a very young crowd. My phone was stolen and there was no one willing to help. I wont be back.

The gay scene in Florida. Where else can straight women have this much fun I ask you? Really a great place to dance like crazy, watch beautiful boys dance like crazy, and totally let go. Complete and utter abandon I tell you.

Drinks are very over priced. Love the size of the club but the crowd isn't really that friendly. I do go here every now and then but usually leave around midnight or so and head down to the street to the ramrod.

Charging a cover will be the death of the Manor. Look at Steel and countless other gay bars in the WM area. Once were free, started charging a cover, people stop going, months later - closed. Bad move. This isn't South Beach. We locals don't pay admission to buy overpriced drinks. Good luck with that Manor! I'm out...

I need to revise my review for this place. And probably my opinion will vary widely depending on the days. Because it's that kind of place - a place that has a hard time keeping everything consistently under control. It's one of the nicest clubs around, but also one of the dirtiest since there doesn't seem to be much of a cleaning staff. And I'm talking Saturday night. I've seen shabbier clubs that are just as packed but are cleaner. Additionally, another thing that bothers me is how the air is stifling hot in here when it's packed. It's uncomfortably hot and sticky. Not something I'd expect for this club to be if it's aiming to be of a higher calibre. And unfortunately most of the other clubs I've been to that are again, just as packed, are not as stifling hot as it was in The Manors. I wish I could say it's an isolated incident, but I've experienced this the last three times I've gone out for the Manors' nightlife. I'd only recommend this place on a quieter night, for the restaurant, bar and chill spot - but as far as clubbing goes, there's work that needs to be done.

    (3)
  • Michael Y.

I go here pretty often and if you are looking to go on a good night... then hit it up on a Saturday. They have Latin Night in one room as well as Dance music in another. The outside bar is the best for people watching and great drinks.

We do not mind paying a cover charge. What we do mind is a dj that cannot take requests, even simple requests. This was our first dance at the Manor. Cover was 10$. It was crowded. A few folks wanted a little change in the music, however, the dj kept her head down was not friendly and wouldn't change her choice of music at all. It was too loud and it seemed to be hours of the same boom boom boom boom .....Fire that terrible dj......we will not reenter that dance floor and pay $10.00 a head if the dead beat dj remains.

This is written from a straight girl's perspective- With that said, obviously I do not fit the demographic of the usual Manor patron, but I still had a blast. Manor was my first encounter with a gay club, and I would for sure go back. However i would do it up next time by parading my fishnets and barely there attire, really where else can this be done other than in a room full of guys who don't give a f*ck what you look like. It was refreshing to be able to dance freely without any random genitalia grinding on my back side, and the music was pretty good. There was a drag "show" for lack of a better term. Basically a dude dressed up as Beyonce and lip synched to Crazy in Love. I was shocked to see people giving her money!

This one of the more swankier places in Wilton Manors to eat or just do drinks. The few times I have been there the service was great - one of which was during Pride when they were completely slammed - everything was still tasty and the servers were still attentive and super nice. Had an awesome bloody mary and the BBQ Pork flat bread was the BEST. I didn't get to check it out, but they have a back room with a stage with live music and dancing. Definitely want to come back and check that out with my favorite gay.

Newest place on Wilton Drive - promises to be the next big thing in town. It's a welcoming new addition that blends in well with the rest of the businesses. Designed with lots of outdoor, street-side space, the place reminds me of a Key West meets New Orleans bar come restaurant come cafe. The cafe is really a misnomer I think. Sure you can stop and get coffee to go, but the space really lends itself more to the restaurant space during the day. I was here on opening night and def plan a follow-up visit. The whole place flowed surprising well. You can tell they didn't just move into some used building. The drinks were mixed well, though the lines were a bit long. There must be ten bars in the entire place. It really does have something for everyone. I can see the locals chilling out at the neighborhood style bar in front, the tourists at the two story dance floor, and the Miami crowd on the second story terrace or hip outdoors space in the back. Oh, and there's no smoking! Yay!! I didn't think it was monsteriously big at all. I had a great time and so did everyone I went with. I think this place will do well.

The Manor has really upped their game to try and stay at the top of the Wilton Drive food chain. I LOVE the new menu and the availability of affordable Tapas. The new bar is very cool and the service is always great. I have not been for the live music in a while but plan to do that again soon. If I were to have an suggestions it would be to add some new bathrooms that can accommodate the larger crowds and maybe have a couples night?

For those that have been to the Abby in West Hollywood its a copy... which is a good thing. Multiple rooms, lots of bars, and lots of cute boys. Lots of dancing! Its really only busy on Friday and Saturday night (other nights it closes early or is dead). Younger crowd and its 18+. No cover if your over 21.

Biggest gay club in Broward. Saturday night is my favorite night to go. Huge dance floor is always full of hot men sweating. The smaller dance floor is Latin on Saturday but changes other nights of the week. Drinks are a little pricey. No cover for 21+. Usually a very diverse crowd of various age ranges.

The Manor gets five stars, not because it's my favorite gay bar ( I live in South Beach, 30 miles away, and Wilton Manors is not really my crowd ), but because it is one of the best clubs in South Florida and deserves five stars on its own merits, not judging it by who may or may not go there. Like Twist, it has several different bars with different themes going. Unlike Twist, they have a real dance floor, the biggest in South Florida ( easily 3 times the size of Score's dance floor ). The music is loud, the lights are amazing, and during special events ( such as Halloween ) you feel like you are in the middle of a good old-fashioned circuity party. Dorothy, I don't think we're in same-old-boring-Broward anymore! The place is very well managed, the bartenders are friendly and professional ( a rare combo in South Florida ), and they host the only true Latin night in Broward County. While I am not a big fan of the Wilton Manors scene ( everything starts and ends so early!! ), this is by far the crown jewel of Wilton. Georgie's may be the better bar ( more experienced bartenders, lower prices for excellent drinks, etc ), but The Manor is the only place in Broward where you can get a true " world class " nightlife experience, something Broward hasn't had since Coliseum closed. Bravo Manor!

This place only has 3.5 stars? Really??? Well, I'm going to give it a 4. It's a very good place in comparison to places in Miami. Zero cover, cheap drinks, large venue, good music, and good looking people. What else can you ask for? It's located next to other bars and clubs. So if you get bored or just want to explore, you can walk on over to another place. They have valet or you if you're lucky you can find parking nearby. It's never dull or empty, so it's a pretty happening place. Too bad it's not closer to home (in Dade)

This is one of those dance clubs where you get drunk somewhere else then come here around midnight. That's about when the dance floor opens. It has an awesome dance floor! The sound system is amazing. But the drinks are expensive and served in a plastic cup.

The new Taps and Tapas at The Manor is fantastic! We went on opening night a couple of weeks ago and loved it! We have been back a couple of times and it's been just as good as the first time. The new menu is great, some old favorites but the must haves are the Meatball Sliders and the Szechwan Calari. They've also added a huge assortment of craft beers and a tequila bar. Check it out, you won't be sorry!

One of the best dance clubs in South Florida. Not sure what the 1-star reviewer was smoking that night he/she went. DJ Terrance Lalley rocks a mean dance floor here! Love the lasers and the smoke machines. I only wish Manor didn't feel the need to open the dance floor at 11:45-midnight on the weekends. Most of us have 9-5 jobs during the week and can't be out all hours of the night/morning. The crowd is sometimes fun but usually very clique-ish and gossipy. It's always best to go here with a group of friends to bring your own positive vibes. This is not the best place for meeting people other than to hook up what with the loud music. If you used to go to Coliseum back in the day, this is the next best thing (but nothing can beat Coliseum).

Really good food for the price and good service. Special requests - no problem. Great concept bar, dance floor, restaurant, coffee bar, gelato counter. Only issue - parking! Be prepared to valet your car or hunt for a space and walk.

I haven't been to too many gay bars around this area to compare to the Manor. However, I enjoyed my experience when I went. I love the random drag shows, the choices of different rooms with different music, and the fact that there was no cover charge when we went. I would go back!

Ah Manor......I have had such a great time within your walls. I have been there twice when visiting my best friend with our entourage of beautiful gay men friends. I can only vouch for the club portion of this ecclectic place, that also contains a bistro and cafe within it's confines. I agree with the other reviewers that the drinks are a little pricey (think South Beach standards like two years ago $10.00 vodka n tonic) but it makes up for it in ambiance. Unlike some gay clubs I have visited in the past, The Manor's clientel are very receptive to heterosexual "fag hags". From the moment we walked onto the dance floor we were surrounded by a plethora of dance partners. When we tried to leave we were grabbed and pulled back on to the dance floor. There are many places to have nice conversation in both of their open patios (AKA smoking sections) The music is fantastic and the DJ spins seamlessly well. There are a great variety of people and everybody is extremely friendly. Valet is quick and at 3 bucks you cant beat that. After a long night of partying at Manor on a Saturday night you can go to their brunch. I will definetly be taking my lovely friends there again. Truly a pleasure.

I have been back to The Manor many times over since my last review over a year ago. They have made a ton of changes to the venue, the menu, etc. The new menu is delicious, so many options to choose from when you go in for dinner or just a quick bite on your way to dance the night away. The manor has everything you want in a night out.. Dinner or a quick bite, video bar, outside bar, and a amazing nightclub open til 3am on Fri & Sat. The staff are all friendly and attentive, doesn't take forever to get a drink in any area of the venue.. and if you truly want to experience The Manor book a table in the Dance Floor VIP area and be in the mix of everything and have your every need met by the staff. We will defiantly be back to celebrate many more occasions. Thank you to Paul, Brett and Jason for creating an amazing venue in the heart of Wilton Manors. 1 year down, and many more to come!

The Manor is the classier side of Wilton Manors. With clean, fabulous decor and several rooms for you to choose, there's always something to do here - A bar, dessert station, lounge area, dance club, restaurant, etc. I've been here for brunch and a late night snack. I had the 2-2-2 breakfast and while it was good, it wasn't anything out of the ordinary. They do have $3 mimosas for brunch, which is always great. There were only a few other people scattered about during this Sunday brunch, maybe they were all at the Georgie's brunch? That's always packed, but I actually preferred the brunch here at the Manor. Our waitress was attentive and it was an overall good experience. I have to add that their choice of brunch music videos could not have been better, I literally squeed with delight at watching the fierce and campy video for Divine's "I'm So Beautiful" while scarfing down my pancakes! I had the blackened chicken sliders as a late night snack and they were delectable bites of heaven! So good. The waitress at this time was also great (and in drag) and kept the drinks coming! I've also been here just to hang out by the pool table, watch videos and drink. I went to their last She King competition and that was in their "dance club" area, which is super decadent and fabulous decor-wise (I can't wait to see a drag show there!). It actually looks like Lady Gaga's "Paparazzi" set from the MTV Video Music Awards. The space is large enough where lots of people can congregate, but you don't feel like you can't move or dance. The music is perfect. I rang in 2011 on this same dance floor and that was the only time I've felt like there were too many people on the dancefloor, but that was an obvious reason since it was New Year's Eve. They have several theme nights and happy hour specials including Thirsty Thursdays (lesbian night), Bubble Gum Fridays (pop music night) and other theme nights that aren't on regular rotation (like freestyle music night, professional drag shows, comedians, performances, etc.). I've heard people complain that The Manor is trying to be too many things at the same time, but I really don't find this to be such a problem. There's really nowhere else like this in Wilton Manors (clean, new, trendy & modern) and it's nice to know it's there when you want it. My friends and I often make a pit stop here for a while when we're hanging out on the Drive, it's treated us well.

This place is a pretty enjoyable sausage fest. The drama in the air is almost palpable. Honestly, throw in some loud music and people that don't grope me while i'm dancing and i'm a pretty happy person, so i've enjoyed myself the couple of times i've been here! I only wish the lesbians down the street at New Moon were as friendly and willing to dance as these dudes.

Out of all the places in Wilton, this is by far one of the better ones for dancing! They have an incredible DJ, I'm not sure who he is or even what nights he's there but this guy was insane! I came with a few friends during winter break and this DJ was the best I've ever seen! His mixes were sick, his style was unique and the crowded loved him! He was also using CD's which was really cool since I haven't seen a DJ work with CD's since my middle school dance days. During the day it's a restaurant and at night is morphs into a club scene. Five different areas, three with different music. The main dance floor is really cool and always packed. The boys love it here and they definitely know how to party. If you're in the area stop by for a drink, it's totally worth it!

Been back to The Manor several times, including brunch, dinner and just late-night drinks. The brunch here (served from 10am to 4pm) is pretty solid...$3 mimosas, omelettes, classic/crab/salmon eggs benedicts, biscuits and gravy, blintzes, pancakes and french toast. Everything I've tried is sure to cure the Sunday morning hangover blues! I don't get why this place is usually empty and Rosie's down the street is so packed on Sundays. I find the food and service here to be so much better! Dinner is good, not great. Most dishes are supposedly served tapas style-- but still quite too big to eat more than one. The service is always really good though and their martini list is fab. I want to work my way down the line and try them all. So far, my favorite are the Raspberry Lemon Drop and the Strawberry Patch. My girlfriend seems to be a fan of the Grape Crush and one of those usually has her pretty buzzed (which she'll vehemently deny). While my run in Fort Lauderdale is almost done, The Manor is definitely my top pick for Wilton and I'm sure I'll make the drive back to hang here again!

I love this place I really do, I live in Miami and my spot is usually twist. But after being there so much you get pretty tired of the place and wanting to try something different. So I came here with my friends and to realize that there is life after twist JK.. This place in my opinion beats down twist 10 to 1, the people and the decor, just about everything is completely different from twist. I really enjoyed this place and loved the fact that there trans room made you feel like you were in a miniature ultra show. I also loved the fact that they had beds miniature beds in the second floor for people to rest or lay in over-viewing the whole trans room. Definitely recommend this place, for those who are visiting and or wanting to try something different. Each city has there own best gay club so for this area I do think this is by far the best one. The only thing is the drive from Miami.

Manor, Manor, Manor in Wilton Manors... I still can't figure you the hell out. I've been there probably 6 different times and there is a COMPLETELY different vibe there EVERY time. Please start posting your schedule on your website, I but a lowly Wilton Manor resident that can't figure out what night is what at your wonderful establishment. I grow weary of having to call to find out what is happening each night as I'm sure you grow weary of me. PS - The food is actually pretty good and the bartenders are nice to girls. :) PS2 - Very cool ambiance, upstairs outside deck, upstairs indoor overlook onto huge dance floor, gelato for when you are really drunk - I mean, who could ask for anything more?

Came here to have a couple of drinks with some friends on a Friday night. Well, a couple turned out to just be one. After finding out that 2 drinks came out to $27, we decided to finish our one drink, in a small plastic cup, and hop along. Granted, the place is huge. The nightclub section of The Manor is quite impressive that i boasts a stage, two levels of dance-floor and VIP sections throughout. The music was great, thanks to the DJ stylings of Daisy D. After walking around and checking out the rest of the venue, which i will say again, was super nice and modern, we decided to take our fun elsewhere. And elsewhere turned out to be Georgies Alibi across the street which had double the drink measurements for half the price. I noticed the place is also a restaurant, but I didn't see anyone sitting the restaurant section. There's also an ice cream section too, pretty empty as well. If you want to impress your wealthy out of town gays, take them to The Manor. A good time will be had, no doubt, but you may end up going broke. Not sure if I will make the trek back up here, unless it's for a special event.

The owner is an idiot! We tried to use our Groupon for the paid value since it expired last month. The Federal Credit Card Act of 2009 requires the establishment to take the Groupon for the paid value, not the face value, after it has expired. The owner refused to let us use the Groupon. Nevertheless, he's an idiot and doesn't realize he is violating federal law and I may (out of principle of the matter) file a complaint against his establishment now. He shouldn't pretend to know the law if he actually doesn't! Get your facts right! What a way to treat guests from out of town, I mean I'd expect this kind of rude service back home in DC but not Wilton Manors!

This review is about their lunch service only. Have never been here at night...just not my scene. This place is Florida tacky at its very best. Suburban Mcmansion feel all the way. The granite bar tops...the faux oak paneling. A hodgepodge of styles depending on the room you're in. The lunch menu is pretty good. Their sandwiches are delicious and very well prepared. A bit big for lunch, but tasty. Their sweet potato fries are amazing. The prices are just right (2 sandwiches with sides and two iced teas for $20) and the service is friendly and efficient. A great place for a weekday lunch; specially now that the hot weather is coming...the tinted windows makes the interior feel cool and you can still look outside and people-watch.

Jesus F*cking Christ this place was packed when I went! Entry was free for 21 and uppers and the bouncer was super sweet, got my drinks fast, and the music was loudloudLOUD and fun to dance to on the huge open floor. Bathrooms were a little sketch, the men's room was totally open with multiple urinals but lady's just had one stall for all of the downstairs? Beers were expensive and I was nervous to order a liquor drink because of the price of my Heineken. The best part: Half of the guys here were missing their shirts for some reason. Awesomeee!

Overpriced for Wilton Manors. $10 for a Ketel One and Vodka? No thanks. I love that it's non-smoking, but the drink prices are awful compared to other bars on the "strip." Yes, I realize this is South Florida, but it's not South Beach - why pay $10 for a small drink in a plastic cup that is weak at that? Another key thing is make sure to not buy your drinks on the dance floor - they charge more. There is variable pricing in effect (certain areas charge more for certain items). I want to see this place succeed, but unless they lower their prices or have specials I'm not going to be in a hurry to run back.

We went here for Sunday brunch and the food was nearly unedible. My partner got steak and eggs and I had Eggs Benedict. The steak was so tough that it couldn't be chewed. The eggs were dry and hard. Brought it home to the dog. The Eggs Benedict were served on stale English muffins. I had a side of grits which were served in a big hard clump in a small bowl. We eat out about four or five times a week and both agreed that this was the worst meal we'd eaten out in a restaurant in a long time. Perhaps it is better during the week? For Sunday brunches in Wilton, the Tropics is by far better. An older crowd however the food is so much better!

It's new so I am sure the bugs are not worked out.The food was great the service not so much. My thoughts are if you want to be an ala cart establishment give me a table cloth and a dinning atmosphere or move on to be the night club you want to be

Small menu to get something that will fill you up. Over priced items, rude staff and limitations on their happy hour. I should of went to Georgi's across the street to get a real meal with good service.

update - I received an apology from Scott which I am appreciative for. I don't know if you are the owner or part of the management team, but thank you for speaking to the dj. First impressions are lasting ones, I wish the evening had been different for my friends. Your apology is appreciated.

Came here for dinner the other day and was pleasantly surprised. The food was truly outstanding and the staff from host to server to manager was extremely accommodating and hospitable. I ordered the fresh fish and I can honestly say it was one of the best prepared pieces of fish I have ever had in my life. The fried Oreo cookies were a real treat.

If by writing this review, I can prevent another person from eating at the Manor, my life will have not been lived in vain. Seriously, this place should change their name to Manure because everything here is crap. The onion rings, touted as "amazing" by our waitress, were clearly from a frozen box, as were the spring rolls and their accompanying plum sauce with an undertaste reminiscent of children's cough syrup. The southwestern pizza was fine for a pre-made flat bread with corn, black beans and goat cheese thrown on. As for dessert, the waitress-recommened Red Velvet cake was a sin against nature. What should have been light, spongy and creamy was flat, dense and tooth-achingly sweet-- the bakers at CostCo would turn their nose up. Add on a $5 bottled beer (they don't have a tap) and a tired-music-videos-blaring loud and seedy atmosphere (did I mention the big daddies and their rent boy sitting behind us-- one of two other tables filled at 8pm on a Thursday) and we had an unforgettable evening, but probably not for the reason the owners would have liked.

A top notch entertainment venue serving up the best music and entertainment in several different rooms each with a completely different vibe. The DJ/VJ in the main room was FLAWLESS with his beat mixing (thanks to his computer program) and the music was PUMPING. You would expect to find this type of club and ambiance in a large city like NY or SF. Never a dull moment! However, the drink pours could be heavier for the price and we didn't appreciate the bartender touching our ice with his bare hands (unsanitary) while pouring out the melted water from pre-iced plastic drink cups at the upstairs bar in the main room. Although he was very nice, he clearly was ROLLING BIG TIME! We went downstairs and asked the manager for new drinks and he readily complied with a very sincere apology...props to management for doing the right thing with a positive attitude. Yes, pretty people party here and the "window shopping" is delightful. The best night club experience I've had in a while in S. FL without driving all the way to South Beach. I'm pretty picky when it comes to clubbing. Bonus: Friday is ladies' night and girls get in for FREE! The Manor get 5 stars...no problem!

We stopped in on a Wednesday, when supposedly they have 1/2 price bottles of wine, and 2 for 1 cocktails. However, 1/2 price bottles of wine only if you order an entree (not the tapas that they are known for and that are not cheap); and the 2 for 1 cocktails do not apply to their "signature drinks" such as a Mojito. The setting is nice and the food might have been nice, but we did not like all of the "conditions" to get their drink specials. We left.

I had been by the place a couple times and finally decided to try it for dinner. The outside seating looked inviting so why not. The wait staff was fine, nothing special. He was friendly but not that helpful with the items on the menu. I had the skirt steak and found that it was completely tasteless. It was simply unflavored meat that had been grilled. The portion size was good, and the mashed potatoes delicious. My guest had a chicken dish that was better than my steak. It took forever to get our check which was certainly annoying.

This is one of those dance clubs where you get drunk somewhere else then come here around midnight. That's about when the dance floor opens. It has an awesome dance floor! The sound system is amazing. But the drinks are expensive and served in a plastic cup.

I love it! :)

This is a high energy space.

pretty awesome venue.

My friend and I had so much fun at this place! We found it by mistake and ended up dancing the night away. The drinks were a little expensive considering the amount they give you, but the bartender had a heavy pour so it might have worked out in the end.

  • Bill S.

Awesomeee!
